Developed by Kentucky State University and released in 2018, KSU ‘Chappell’ has good fruit size of 8-12 ounces. It is thought to be a seedling of ‘Susquehanna’.
Fruit has a thick, custard-like flesh, with a mild tropical banana/mango with hints of honey and caramel, blended together.
It is noted as one of the most vigorous varieties - fast growing tree with healthy foliage.
All products are grafted cultivars.
Seedlings will be 18-21 inches tall when shipped.
