Kentucky State University’s first pawpaw selection, released in 2009.
Fruit size is medium, very refreshing tropical fruit flavor and nice creamy custard texture. Smooth, clean skin, with attractive blue color, having a mange, pineapple, and banana-like flavor.
KSU Atwood ripens in mid-season, some sources say early October for Northern climates.
All products are grafted cultivars.
Seedlings will be 18-21 inches tall when shipped.
